Sammy's a great dog. He's doing awesome with going potty outside. He's had a few accidents but not nearly as many as I expected for a dog whose lived the majority of his life outside. He walks great on a leash, plays with my other dogs in the backyard, and loves all people including kids. He's very calm in the house but can act like a puppy outside. He has a very high prey drive so I'm not sure how he would do with cats or small dogs.
Sammy is 3/4 Greyhound and 1/4 red ticked Coonhound. He is a real sweetheart. He's very friendly and outgoing. His tail wags all the time, and he usually has a big smile on his face. He acts a lot younger than he's supposed to be
Minnie (Minnie Driver) is an 11 year old lurcher (greyhound mix) Minnie had her last litter was well over a year ago. She is so sweet and funny. She has quite the personality. She has a typical broodie temperament! She definitely knows what she wants and isn't shy about letting you know her desires! She looks good and is at a decent weight.
"We had her for about 3 hours and she was perfect with my beagle mix and my 6 & 7 year old girls. Very sweet girl! I really think she is going to transition into a family pet in no time. She is ready for the good life!"

We still have several wonderful senior hounds available for adoption.
Please let us know if you would like to foster or adopt one of our seniors. There are many seniors on greyhound farms. They live outdoors in extreme temperatures year-round. We can bring in more seniors but we NEED foster homes
for them. As the saying goes, "they aren't getting any younger!"
Rescued Racers has extended our Senior Adoptions. A Senior Hound is 8 years or older. These are just a few of
the other Seniors that Rescued Racers has available for adoption:
