Big Daddy Rich

Big Daddy - just arrived from a TX Blood Donor program where he has been for the past several years. He liked hanging around for pets and hugs. He is a very sweet brindle/white boy with a very cute face!

His foster mom writes, He does have the sweetest eyes and is becoming more curious about the rest of the house every day. He is learning "The Way of the Cookie" and thinks it's pretty neat that all he has to do is be there and a cookie comes his way. He is fascinated by the grass and sort of grazes (they lived in sand/dirt pens at the blood donor program).

He has the option of sleeping in a crate but seems to appreciate all the padding/foam pillow/blanket bedding more! He is pretty quiet so he would prefer a home that is not very busy/loud/active. He is kind of settle in with the folks at home sort of guy....he is just dear!

He would be ok as an only dog as well as with others, but he needs companionship whether human or hound, but not necessary for constant attention. He just likes someone being there and still needs a little encouragement to move around.

He does have many corns on his pads and we are working with our vet to remove them. So he wouldn't do well on long walks until his corns are removed.

He is cat-safe.
