Jeep Martinez
Jeep- just arrived from a TX Blood Donor program. There's something especially sad about an 6.5 year old dog who's done nothing his whole life but live in a cage making money for people - first by pushing his young body literally to the breaking point while racing, and then by being bled for years while known only as #96. His foster family says, "He's fabulous! He's such a sweet dog! He's
so kind and loving. He fit right in around here. He enjoys playing with
my dogs, and laying on my feet. He's alright just hanging out by himself
for a while and then wandering back in to say hello. Jeep loves kids, although older ones are better because he can get a bit rowdy / mouthy when excited. He would be fine as an only dog. He is not overly fond of young dogs because he's afraid they're going to step on his bad leg.
